Brief Bio

Scott began playing racquetball in 1979 and trained under Connecticut State Men’s Open Champion Ron Mirek. He improved from a Men’s C player to a Men’s Open Player by 1981. He worked as a Club Pro at Court House One in Vernon, CT throughout the 80’s and 90’s. He taught group and private lessons and also ran Racquetball clinics and tournaments. He has been giving racquetball lessons for over 30 years. He played at the highest amateur level (Men’s Open) and semi-pro divisions. In 1983 he was the Connecticut State Men’s Open Champion and went on to win that title 4 other times throughout his career. In that year, He also won the New England collegiate Racquetball Tournament in the Men’s Level 1 division. He went on went on to win over 50 Men’s Open tournaments during his Career. Scott served as the president of the Connecticut Racquetball Association in 1992-93 running tournaments and promoting racquetball throughout the state. He currently serves as vice-president.
